It all started back in 1977 when the first Star Wars Movie came out (A New Hope) I was an impressionable 17 year old who immediately got hooked by Star Wars, eagerly waiting for the new films to be released.
Quite a few years down the line in the early 1990’s I was lucky enough to actually work in the Film Industry working on many great films, but alas no Star Wars Films. But I did get to meet some of the famous actors who actually starred in them. (Sorry No Name Dropping Here)
In the late 1990’s I moved to Norfolk worked in the IT Industry (EDI Software) but was eventually made redundant and now work very local to home for 8 months a year on a Holiday Park, doing a job I love with NO STRESS and now have plenty of time to pursue my hobby - Star Wars Props & Electronics.
A few years ago I stumbled on the Arduino researched using it for Star Wars Props and making them at home. That's when it all started.
I have converted quite a few Hasbro Blasters and now own 2 3D printers so can print my own parts and kits, and have learnt new skills in both converting and making props and designing parts I need to complete my projects.
So I decided to open a shop online to share not only my designs but sell some of the parts I use in making my props.
I must just say a big thank you to Karl at KRSabers who has not only sold me some fantastic props and parts but been so very helpful to a newbie in the hobby.
